Europe
I like to intervene in or contribute to various projects at the crossroads of arts, culture and human rights.
CACY
I was granted a “carte blanche” to talk about the new generation of Kyrgyz artists at the contemporary arts centre CACY (Yverdon-Switzerland, 2016)

My various travels are an endless source of inspiration – I get mesmerised by the people I meet, the stories I hear, fragrances and smells. All this often ends up in short stories, written between two flights or when I get stranded in some secluded Posada…

I was a member of the panel exploring the topic “When Art becomes Politics: Arts projects as democratic exercises in post-communist countries” at the European Culture Institute (Berlin-Germany, 2014)”.

I will be a lecturer in the upcoming Certificate of Advanced Study on Arts and International Cooperation, Zurich University of the Arts.
Art in Conflict
I was invited to contribute to the symposium “Art in Conflict”, exploring the role of art in social transformation and peace building processes (Zurich-Switzerland, 2015).
FIFDH
I helped the International Film Festival and Forum on Human Rights (FIFDH) to conceive its thematic evening on the Rohyingas (Geneva-Switzerland, 2014).
